UCI and Hathaway Dinwiddie turn to Courtney Inc. for Roofing and Waterproofing

Sue and Bill Gross Stem Cell Research Center at University of California, Irvine

In 2009, Courtney was contracted in the major expansion of research center for the broad areas of regenerative medicine and stem cell biology. The four-story, 100,636-square-foot building is the facility for the UCI Sue and Bill Gross Stem Cell Research Center, dozens of laboratory-based and clinical researchers, a stem cell techniques course, a master’s program in biotechnology with an emphasis on stem cell research, and programs and activities for patients and public education. The building is was completed in July 2010. This important Stem cell center serves several key areas important to regenerative medicine, such as niche biology, asymmetric cell division, cancer stem cells, tissue engineering, cell matrix interactions, developmental potency/epigenetics, cell signaling, regeneration, organogenesis, and more, including pharmaceutical applications.
