In 2009, Courtney was contracted in the major expansion of research center for the broad areas of regenerative medicine and stem cell biology. The new stem UC Irvine cell research building that will strengthen and unify this fast-growing field on campus and throughout Southern California.

The four-story, 100,636-square-foot building is the facility for the UCI Sue and Bill Gross Stem Cell Research Center, dozens of laboratory-based and clinical researchers, a stem cell techniques course, a master’s program in biotechnology with an emphasis on stem cell research, and programs and activities for patients and public education. The building is was  completed in July 2010.
This important Stem cell center serves several key areas important to regenerative medicine, such as niche biology, asymmetric cell division, cancer stem cells, tissue engineering, cell matrix interactions, developmental potency/epigenetics, cell signaling, regeneration, organogenesis, and more, including pharmaceutical applications.

Air barriers are waterproofing elements designed to work in an above grade environment usually installed on a cavity wall condition between a finished surface and a structural element of a building.

Joint Sealant Contractor

Courtney offers services for the installation of polyurethane, silicone, latex, butyl, silyl-terminated polyether, and flexible epoxy joint sealants. Courtney offers a wide range of product options including selections from notable manufacturers such as Dow Corning, Pecora, Sika, Sonneborn, Pacific Polymers, and Tremco, among others.
